OIL PAINTING ON PANEL

DESCRIPTION
Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks contacted Liz to assist them with a themed feature of their bi-monthly conservation periodical, Montana Outdoors Magazine.

The commission led to this painting, which shows a variety of scavengers involved in breaking down an elk carcass, from grizzly bears, ravens and magpies to the blowflies and beetles that help to decompose the carcass down into soil.
